Since many funds are fiduciary to their investors, it is difficult to generate returns from delegated proof-of-stake (staking) activities due to the level of risk involved. As the first custodian to offer asset collateral from secure offline storage, Coinbase Custody is changing the way this is calculated.
Similar to Coinbase Custody's first implementation of secure staking, it is now possible to participate in governance activities, such as voting on log operations, while keeping assets offline. We currently support Maker and Algorand Governance, with more networks coming soon.
